What are my mail settings?

Incoming POP3 server: mail.edurostream.com
Outgoing SMTP server: mail.edurostream.com
Webmail: http://members.edurostream.com/webmail

If you do not have an @edurostream.com email address, please call or email us to get your address created.
If you have business class service, your incoming and outgoing mail servers are mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your actual domain. Webmail is located at http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail
IMPORTANT Some dial up providers block SMTP requests to servers outside their network. If your outbound mail is not working and you do not have a dial up or broadband connection through Eduro, call your ISP to get their outbound mail server and use that!

How do I filter out spam?
Eduro uses SpamAssassin and MailScanner to filter spam as it enters our servers. Possible spam messages are marked with a subject beginning with {Spam?}. Use your mail client filters to create a rule that looks for {Spam?} in the subject line and then either deletes it or puts the email in a folder you check occasionally. False positives are possible so it is suggested your filter moves the email to a folder that you manually delete after checking.

How do I upload my personal website?
FTP to members.edurostream.com and login with your username and password. Go to the “web” directory and upload your pages. Your URL is http://members.edurostream.com/~username.

How do I upload my business website?
If you have a business class service, FTP to www.yourdomain.com where yourdomain.com is your actual domain and login with a site administrator username and password. By default you will be in the proper directory to manage your website. If necessary change to the directory “/web” to get out to the root of your site.

How do I maintain my users and other account information?
Login using your username and password athttp://members.edurostream.com/login. You will be able to use the links on the left of the page to view your disk space usage, add vacation messages, enable email forwarding and change your password. In order to add additional email addresses please call or email us. For business class service, visit http://www.yourdomain.com/login to perform the same tasks, or login as your site administrator to manage users and view your site settings. Business class hosting provides the ability to manage email accounts without contacting support.

What are Eduro’s hours for maintenance?
Eduro will notify customers affected by any maintenance in advance, unless it’s an emergency. Planned hours are between 4am and 8am unless otherwise indicated.
